Developed for Lowe’s Portfolio through Checkolite International, 2012.
A coordinating flushmount developed to extend the Vessi design language beyond the vanity fixture and into general ceiling lighting. The design carries the collection’s softened geometric character into a simpler format, using a square footprint and curved glass profile to create continuity without directly repeating the vanity light.
The fixture is built around a shallow square metal frame with a frosted glass diffuser that pulls inward toward a small central finial. The glass transitions from a broad perimeter to a softer concave center, giving the fixture more shape and depth than a conventional flat flushmount while keeping the overall profile restrained. The square frame connects back to the rectilinear structure of the Vessi vanity fixture, while the curved glass introduces the same balance of clean geometry and softened form that defines the collection.
Finished in brushed nickel, the flushmount was designed as a coordinated companion piece for bedrooms, hallways, and adjoining spaces, extending the Vessi aesthetic across the home through shared proportion, finish, and geometric language.
