Developed for indoor spaces through Activa Leisure
Two-pack dining chairs developed within the category-development program that took an outdoor furniture business into indoor furniture for a national warehouse-club retailer. The brief was to find directions the retailer's dining assortment didn't carry, and Tuscany took the casual, coastal look that woven natural materials had brought to prominence through 2019–2020 — and built it as a genuine indoor dining chair rather than an outdoor piece dressed for the living room. The aesthetic borrows from outdoor living; the construction is fully interior.
Each chair pairs a solid wood frame with handwoven natural seagrass cord, bringing organic, coastal texture to a clean, architectural silhouette. The seat is upholstered in crisp white linen over high-resiliency cushioning, balancing softness against structure. Together the elements express a refined ease — the considered, residential read the channel's dining assortment didn't yet offer, with the relaxed character of woven furniture executed in materials built for everyday indoor use.
