A modular commercial outdoor sectional designed in 2019, addressing the need for enclosure and spatial definition that commercial outdoor settings — restaurant patios, hotel terraces, hospitality lounges — increasingly required. Where most outdoor sectionals in the category were built to feel open and expansive, the brief here was the opposite: a seating program that could create intimate, defined zones within larger open-air commercial spaces.
A tall woven-rope back panel rises across the back and sides of the sectional, creating a sense of enclosure and visual privacy that lower-backed outdoor seating couldn't deliver — drawing on the high-back lounge vocabulary that contract furniture had been using indoors to carve out semi-private spaces within open environments. The woven-rope construction keeps the panel visually breathable and lets light and air move through, so the enclosure doesn't read as a wall. A powder-coated aluminum frame carries the structure with the weather performance the commercial outdoor category requires. The collection includes coordinating aluminum slat tables in varying heights, the tallest sized to echo the sectional's backrest while the shorter pieces step down through the seating's elevation, so the modular pieces read as a coordinated set rather than separate specifications.
