Developed for Walmart Better Homes & Gardens through Grand Leisure, released Spring 2025.
A five-piece counter-height outdoor dining set developed as an extension to the Tarren Conversation Set, sold through the Better Homes & Gardens brand at Walmart. The program direction called for a counter-height extension that read as part of the same family while introducing a distinct design — not a scaled-up version of the existing piece.
The frame carries the existing Tarren finish: hand-brushed wood-look steel, specified in tube sections larger than the category standard to give the piece the visual mass that ties it back to the conversation set's profile. The seating uses the same wicker-rope material as the conversation set, woven in both directions on the seat and a single direction on the back — adding comfort for the longer sits that bar-height dining tends to involve. The tabletop moves the design forward: a concrete-look finish the existing Tarren collection didn't carry, introduced through a manufacturing process developed specifically for this program.
Tarren High Dining released early SP25 in-store and online, adding the counter-height occasion to a Tarren collection that already covered conversation and dining.
