Developed for the Delta Brand through Checkolite International
A vanity light series designed in 2011 to extend the Delta Talbott collection from faucet into lighting, developed under the Delta lighting license held by Checkolite International. The brief covered a coordinated set — a single-light sconce, a two-light vanity bar, and a three-light vanity bar — translating the Talbott collection's design language into fixtures built to live above a Talbott-equipped vanity.
The Talbott faucet collection was positioned as a piece for traditional bathrooms wanting a touch of modern flair — defined by artistic, gentle curves and easy-grasp lever handles that softened the more rigid postures of conventional traditional fixtures. The lighting set carries the same balance into fixture form. Arms derive from the faucet's curved spout geometry, holding gentle, controlled curvature across the sconce and the two- and three-light bars so the set reads as one family scaled to its bulb counts. Glass diffusers replace the lever handles as the visual focal points, drawing on a similarly soft, rounded vocabulary so the lighting reads as a continuation of the faucet's gesture rather than a separate piece placed near it. Finishes were specified to match the faucet collection's available options, so the lighting and plumbing could be ordered together as a complete bathroom system.
The Talbott Lighting Series translates a faucet's artistic-curve vocabulary into a coordinated lighting set — gentle, balanced curvature carried from countertop to wall.
