Developed for Home Depot Hampton Bay through Grand Leisure, released Spring 2025.
A seven-piece outdoor dining set developed for the Home Depot Hampton Bay Spring 2025 program. The design started from a set of existing design elements — stamped metal patterns, decorative chair backs, structural tube geometry — refined, combined, and unified with new design details into a single coherent set.
The stamped X-pattern on the chair backs and tabletop ties seating to table visually, while the matching leg geometry across both ties the set together structurally. A dark cement gray powder-coat finish on the steel frame pulled the traditional stamped-metal language into contemporary territory, where similar sets had typically lived in warmer browns. The configuration brings two swivel captain armchairs to the head of the table and four stationary chairs along the sides, with cream cushions adding the warmth the metal frame couldn't carry on its own.
Preston Pointe released SP25 in-store and online through the Home Depot Hampton Bay outdoor patio assortment.
