A large-scale pendant light exploring how woven material and open structure could create visual presence without heaviness. The design draws from the material vocabulary of outdoor furniture, translating rope construction into a residential fixture shaped around scale, proportion, and efficient production.
A broad conical shade establishes the primary gesture, balanced by a smaller inverted volume above that completes the silhouette and anchors the suspension point. All-weather synthetic rope radiates across the powder-coated metal frame in a repeated pattern, creating texture and visual rhythm while preserving openness around the exposed light source. The generous diameter gives the fixture architectural presence, while the open construction keeps the overall form visually light.
The frame was engineered to support efficient manufacturing, shipping, and assembly, with a structure designed to flat pack and be easily hand-woven during production. The Luxon Pendant combines scale with restraint, using woven texture, repetition, and clear geometry to create a grounded focal point for residential interiors.
