Developed for the Moen brand through Checkolite International
A vanity light and sconce series designed in 2011 to extend the Moen Eva collection from faucet into lighting, developed under the Moen lighting license held by Checkolite International. The brief covered three fixtures — a single-light sconce, a two-light vanity bar, and a three-light vanity bar — translating the Eva collection's transitional design language across a coordinated lighting set built to live above an Eva-equipped vanity.
The Eva faucet collection is defined by a specific vocabulary — flowing curves, a swan-like spout, petal-like handles, and a tapered transitional silhouette that bridges traditional and contemporary. The lighting set carries the same elements in fixture form. Each piece is built around a curved arm derived from the swan-like spout, with petal-derived flared glass diffusers replacing the faucet's lever handles as the visual focal points; tapered transitions and proportional rhythm hold across the set so the sconce, two-light, and three-light versions read as one family scaled to their bulb counts. Chrome, brushed nickel, and oil-rubbed bronze finish options were specified to match the faucet collection's available finishes, so the lighting and plumbing could be ordered together as a complete bathroom system.
The Eva Lighting Series translates a faucet's design vocabulary into a coordinated lighting set — flowing form and petal detail carried from countertop to wall.
