Developed for Lowe's Style Selection through Grand Leisure, released Spring 2023.
A three-piece bar-height patio dining set developed for the Lowe's Style Selections Spring 2023 program. The configuration and price-tier target responded to a gap in the existing Lowe's Style Selections assortment. As the design starting point, I brought forward an existing dining chair frame — an arm-and-seat-bucket geometry that could be modernized into something contemporary for the new program.
The chair frame was reworked into a bar-height swivel configuration with adjusted seat geometry for comfort. The finish moved to white, single-step powder coat, holding the value-tier price point. The differentiator was the sling: a blue-and-white striped pattern adapted from a coastal trend direction emerging across the category but not yet applied to sling chairs. The high dining table carries the same white frame and pairs it with a hand-brushed faux-wood tabletop, giving the set a coastal-leaning read that the patterned sling anchors.
Crestview released SP23 in-store and online as a 3-piece bar-height dining set, with the 4-piece conversation set following in SP24, coordinating bar-height and standard-height occasions across the collection.
