A two-person outdoor bench in all-weather wicker on a black powder-coated steel frame. The bench was originally developed under a separate outdoor program and was later selected by Canadian Tire for their CANVAS outdoor assortment.
The design works from the open-weave wicker direction on dark frames that had been gaining traction in outdoor furniture — adapted from indoor cane-back furniture for outdoor use. A curved back frames handwoven all-weather wicker. A black powder-coated steel frame holds the silhouette. A built-in padded wicker seat replaces the cushion that would normally sit on a bench at this scale — a decision that held the price tier without compromising the visual read. The bench breaks down for parcel shipping with the side panels and seat as the primary KD components, with breakdown points specified to keep both packing efficiency and front-of-bench appearance clean.
The CANVAS Chambly Bench released in 2025 through Canadian Tire's CANVAS outdoor patio assortment, coordinating with the CANVAS Chambly Folding Bistro Set as a collection pairing.
