Developed for Sam's Club Member's Mark through Grand Leisure, released Spring 2025.
A seven-piece sectional with fire pit, developed to expand the design language available to club members at an established price point. Sam's Club was carrying Athena, a sectional that had defined the configuration and price point for the category. Brenton was developed to meet Athena at parity on both — same seven-piece configuration, same floor price — and offer a different design language for members whose taste pointed somewhere other than Athena's aesthetic.
The design pulled from specialty retailers — Arhaus, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, Restoration Hardware — and translated their language into a piece engineered for the club floor. Wider seats and a more generous overall footprint give Brenton presence. A wide-open weave wicker reads as more crafted at floor-shopping distance, where club purchase decisions happen. A single-piece rockplate tabletop replaces the multi-piece tops typical in the segment, with no seams or grout lines breaking the surface. Thick upholstered cushions extend the sit and signal quality at first contact.
Brenton released into the channel as a sectional positioned to coexist with another seven-piece offering at the same price point, giving members an alternative in a different design language. A coordinated seven-piece dining program followed in the next season, extending Brenton beyond the original sectional and confirming the design language as a foundation worth building from.
